Tenant FAQ


  • How to Apply for a Property?

    Please locate the property of interest in the vacancies section, click on "Apply Now," and provide your information.

  • Are Pets Allowed?

    Yes, however, pet approval is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, considering the owner's preferences. Vaccination records are required. Size, quantity, and breed restrictions may apply.

  • When Do I have to Pay Rent?

    Rent is due on the first of each month.

  • If my Roommate Moves Out, Can I get Somebody to Take Over?

    The roommate and any current tenant remain fully responsible for the lease. The landlord has discretion regarding the acceptance of a new roommate or any lease amendments. A new tenant must complete an application and approval process.

  • What are the Application Criteria and What does the Screening Process Consist of?

    During the application and screening process, we assess credit checks, criminal background checks, employment and income verification, as well as rental history.

  • How Long are Leases?

    At iTxProp Management, we require a one-year lease.

  • Is Pest Control Included?

    We ensure that our properties are pest-free upon move-in. Any pests, including roaches, bed bugs, and mice, will be the responsibility of tenants once they take possession of the property.

  • How do Maintenance Requests Work?

    Please visit iTxProp.com and log into your portal. There, you can find maintenance requests, submit a description along with any relevant pictures, and select your availability for scheduling repairs.

  • Are Locks Changed between Tenants?

    The locks will be changed within the first 7 days of tenant move-in.

  • When can I get my Keys?

    A representative from iTxProp will meet with one or more tenants at the property to hand over the keys.

Owner FAQ


  • How will Owners be Paid?

    Owners will receive electronic payments along with a detailed owner’s packet. 


    We aim to process and send payments to owners between the 7th and 10th of each month. Please note that this timeline may vary due to weather conditions, holidays, late payments by tenants, and weekends.

  • How much Experiences does iTxProp Management have Managing Rentals?

    We have over 17 years of experience in managing rental properties, continually refining our approach to ensure a seamless experience for both owners and tenants.

  • Will iTxProp Management Take Care of Cleaning and Repairs?

    During the transition between tenants, iTxProp will ensure that the property is thoroughly repaired, cleaned, and prepared for showings. Tenants are responsible for maintaining cleanliness inside the property prior to their departure.

  • How to Pay for Major Expenses (Repairs and more)?

    This process can be completed electronically via the owner's portal.

  • How does iTxProp Management Market Properties?

    We promote our listings on all major platforms, including but not limited to MLS (up to 150,000 Texas realtors), Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia, Apartments.com, and thousands of private and personal realtor websites. 

  • How is Tenant Rent Collected?

    Tenant rent is collected electronically for a smooth process. This electronic payment is subject to a clearance period of 3 to 4 days.

  • Do you Work with Out of State Owners?

    iTxProp Management has extensive experience working with out-of-state owners. We prioritize communication to minimize potential issues.

  • When can Rent be Increased?

    Rent adjustments can only be made upon the renewal of a lease.
